Software License Agreement

This License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (the “User”) and Pedro Almeida (the “Developer”) regarding the use of the Pallet software application (“Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

Developer Preview and Free Use

The Software is currently distributed as a free developer preview. During this period, you may use the Software free of charge, including for commercial purposes and on commercial devices. The Developer aims to gather user feedback and improve the Software during this phase.

The Developer reserves the right to introduce fees or change the terms of use for the Software in future versions after the developer preview has ended. Any such changes will be communicated in advance, allowing you to decide whether to continue using the Software under the new terms.

Grant of License

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on your devices, including for commercial purposes, in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Sell, lease, rent, or sublicense the Software or any portion of it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Modify or create derivative works based on the Software.

Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including any updates or enhancements, remain the exclusive property of the Developer.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. While we strive to improve the Software, the Developer does not guarantee that it will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Developer be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the Software.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and the Developer regarding the use of the Software and supersedes all prior agreements, whether oral or written.
